![]() ![]() Needless to say, negative first impressions and half-truths lead to faulty assumptions which they must overcome before they can get together. Aiden has just left the Navy, and is in the middle of a hiking retreat to contemplate his future when he startles Erin, who knocks herself unconscious and requires a trip to the hospital. ![]() As the story unfolds, Erin is experiencing a mid-life crisis when her younger siblings leave home to pursue their own lives and she decides to hide out in the mountains for the summer. THE STORY follows Navy physician and OB-GYN, Aiden Riordan, and workaholic and tax attorney, Erin Foley. The midwife's quest for another baby was bizarre, selfish, and really annoying, too many secondary subplots and characters made the storyline fragmented, the language continues to be bleep-able, and more lusty sex than romance, all of which detracted from the storyline. HOWEVER, the writing is repetitive, details sloppy with a lot of typos, the hero's ex is a little scary bizarre and for a supposedly intelligent man, their meeting, marriage, and split was very contrived. Engaging storyline, strong characters, sassy dialogue, funny situations, and the characters have some sensitive moments. WARNING: soap opera style format, with so many supporting characters and subplots, is confusing if you are not reading the series in order.ĮASY READ.
